Easter at Betty’s

Easter at BB 5

We’ve just returned from Betty’s Bay where we spent a relaxing Easter weekend. The weather was mostly foul (wet and windy) but we made up for it with an abundance of chocolate, some reading, shopping and walking.

The Leah girl clearly loves chocolate. She had fun on the Easter egg hunt and also enjoyed her new keyboard. Hope you had a great Easter weekend too.

  1. I can’t believe how quickly she’s growing up! I guess they do that, though, in the first five years…they expand exponentially, with the density of stars.

Hi David. That’s a lovely metaphor for child development. I’m constantly surprised by how much leah absorbs and then comes out with.

  2. smithereens says:

what a beautiful little young lady! happy easter to you!

So cute! I just love the way toddlers squat to look at things. Right up there with sitting, legs stuck out in front, toes crossed. Makes you want to give them a big cuddle (which would probably be rebuffed as they are often right in the middle of doing something in those positions!).

    • Pete says:

Yes, you have to get the timing right for those cuddles. She often tells me to “Go away Dada” and sometimes adds, for effect “into the sea”. I just laugh at her when she says that.
