I am a Cape Town-based psychologist, occasional freelance writer, blogger, book-reader, runner and dog-owner. And in case you’re wondering, my patients / clients / consumers don’t really lie on the couch like that but until I find a better image of a person and a couch this one will do. I am currently working as a psychologist in the SA military.

Hi hoh. have to confess that the CT shot is not mine (borrowed from flickr – will have to find the photographer to credit). It’s a great photo though. The talent exchange sounds very interesting but will have to check our ethical code. Wouldn’t want to be struck off before I’ve even properly qualified! (Will qualify as a private practitioner after my community year ends in May 2009).

Hi,
I landed on your site because I had searched for posts on whether anyone thought Sarah Palin was borderline. I didn’t find anything here but your blog looks really interesting and I plan to read more.
Not that her denial of the facts of the Troopergate report are evidence, but for weeks I’ve been thinking she’s borderline. This is a weakness of mine. When you have BPD family members, you are always searching for logic amidst the illogic, which I know to be a fools errand. But alas, that is perhaps my own mental instability.
Cheers!
Jane

Greetings from the East Coast!
I have really enjoyed reading your blog and my favourite photo is “Water” which you took in Betty’s Bay. Awesome shot!

Steve – Not sure how to do that but if I work it out I’ll certainly unsubscribe you. I imagine that you subscribed to the comments on the post you commented on, in which case there should be a box to tick to unsubscribe.

I came over here, from BOOK SA. Saw you had commented on the Farren/Emdon conversation. I’m interested in your blog and perspective.
